Things have been mighty quiet over here lately. I’ve been working on something so exciting and I am thrilled for this new venture. I woke up 4 weeks ago today and it just hit me to do this. I haven’t looked back since. My hopes and dreams have always been to own a brick & mortar but God was telling me otherwise. After looking at different spaces within our community, realizing the financial responsibility it would put on our family and settling on a space I didn’t love because the market here is so tight, I decided to start everything out of our home. Over the last several weeks, I’ve had my head down and my little fingers working so hard getting this ready. Each step of the way has been this process that I just knew what to do. It’s been amazing to think back on, even the last several months with certain things happening how it was all opening the doors to this!
I have felt really stuck over the last year with the creator/influencer industry. With 7 years up my sleeve in the business, I couldn’t get a tight grasp of it. The industry started changing faster than I could keep up with and honestly, I felt like it outgrew me and vice versa. It’s becoming so saturated with everyone sharing the same thing and I felt like I just couldn’t stand out anymore. The comparison game hit me hard. After so many years of putting in so much hard work and effort, I knew I needed to do this and see where it takes me.

Edit No. 5 Boutique is a women’s online clothing boutique! After a few hard working weeks getting this going, Edit No. 5 Boutique is up and running today! Woohoo!! I am so proud of it already. The people behind it that have already been extremely helpful, my husband for his unwavering support and being my biggest cheerleader and encourager.
