Happy Friday friend! How was your week? We are just flying through the days with school in the morning and after school activities. We have a busy month of September coming up! The little guy loves doing cross country for school but it takes up 2 days during the week with practice one day and meets the next. Thankfully it’s a short season and things will settle down into October. Little miss started dancing yesterday and soccer this week! We tried ballet last year but she just wasn’t ready. She didn’t want to participate with the class so we took her out and decided to wait another year. Yesterday was her first class and after a little hesitation she joined the group and started dancing! I wanted to cry watching her thinking about what a world of difference from our experience last year. I’m just so proud of her!
Can you believe September is almost here?! I probably write that every month because this year is just flying by! With the month of August comes the longing for transitioning of seasons. Summer feels like it’s over because school is back in session but it’s still really hot outside. While I love the summer months, I do look forward to adding more neutral colors to my closet and incorporating chic outfits that include lightweight sweaters, long sleeve dresses and flats into my outfits. This month’s Amazon try on includes a lot of transitional dresses, shorts I’ve been wearing on repeat and special occasion dresses! Let’s see what I found this month!
Starting off with tops to pair with shorts now and denim later. This sleeveless sweater is one of my favorite finds recently! I can’t wait to wear this when it starts getting just a touch cooler. I paired it with shorts and love the look of it. You can wear this layered over a dress or worn casually with jeans and flats. I am wearing the size small.

The same shorts as above but paired with a blouse. These shorts have been on repeat. So much so I feel like I am over sharing them on IG! They have the best fit – not too tight, the material is dressy and soft and the perfect length. I love the navy for summer but also as a transitional color. I paired it with a blouse that I showed earlier this year and will bring it out again for the fall season. It’s lightweight and airy! I love the long sleeves as well. I am wearing the size small in both the top and shorts.

This two-piece set is adorable! I couldn’t wear this fast enough when it came in. Tie front tops are very trendy right now! The top and the shorts fit perfectly and it’s a super comfortable set to wear as a mom running errands to look cute and put together. This floral maxi was ordered so fast when I spotted it! If you haven’t been following along much, I’ve been sharing quite a few very similar pieces to a more expensive brand. Although the quality is not exactly the same, I have to remind myself I am purchasing it from Amazon. While I love this dress and have worn it several times, I should point out that the fabric is not up to par. It’s flimsy so the collar does not stand up on its own. The buttons are functional all the way down. I am wearing the size small.

Another beautiful dress find this month! I wore this one out earlier this week to meet friends for coffee and then to the little guy’s open house at school. I absolutely love brown during the fall months. It’s a bit softer to me than black. The buttons are functional and it has a tie waist belt. I am wearing the size small.

I ordered this printed maxi dress with a lot of hope that it would be a good one! I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived at how cute the print is! While I live in Florida, I can get away with wearing a blue printed dress most of the year. If you live further north, adding one of the neutral colors to your closet would be so pretty for fall. I love the dropped peplum detail! You could dress this up with heels or wear casually with flats. I am wearing the size small.

A neutral dress is always a must! This maxi dress is fantastic for almost year round! I love that you can wear this now with flats and paired with boots later. Dress is up with a scarf around your neck and a denim jacket or pair with a belt and heels. This dress is so versatile! It now comes in more color options! I am wearing the size small.

The holidays are approaching fast! Can you believe September 1st is Sunday?! I can’t get over it. My motto this year is to start early. And that means having pieces in my closet that I can reach for during the holiday season. This bow tie dress is perfect for the season with the tweed fabric, long sleeve and adorable bow in the front. I scooped it up in the neutral color but the red or green would be so pretty for Christmas time. This one has a full zipper up the back. I am wearing the size small.

Lydia Grace picked this dress out for me one day last week for our Target date. I happily obliged because I love wearing this dress. I haven’t shared it much recently because it’s been out of stock but it’s finally back and comes in more colors now! It’s so easy to wear and super flattering with the smocked top and ruffle sleeves. When you know you are going to love an item, buy it in a few colors! Am I right?! I knew this little short sleeve sweatshirt dress was going to be good! It’s perfect for early fall running errands, taking your kids to their sporting events and feeling comfortable on the weekends. It has an adjustable drawstring around the waist to give it a nice flattering waistline. I adore the funnel neck and it’s lightweight enough to start wearing now. I am wearing the size small.

If you have a special occasion, wedding to attend this fall or just want a beautiful dress to add to your closet, I absolutely love this floral maxi dress! I think this is one of the best finds already this season. The print is exactly what it looks like in the photo online and the colors are just stunning! Another special occasion dress! This one shoulder dress is so sophisticated yet sassy at the same time. It is a very fitted dress with a slit up the side. I always feel so feminine and classy wearing a one shoulder. This one has the prettiest detail with a bow at the shoulder. I am wearing the size small.

This was yesterday’s outfit! When I was searching in my closet for something to wear on my errands, I came across this cute 2-piece set! I shared this a ton last year and even wore the green one 1 year ago yesterday. It popped up in my suggested pictures on my phone. Funny how that happens! It was so comfortable for a hot day but I still felt cute. The pants are pull-on and have an elastic back and the top has the cutest peplum. I am wearing the size small.

I share a ton of dresses from Amazon and knew I needed to find some cute tops to share! Remember the short sleeve eyelet top from this summer? Well it now comes in a long sleeve option! I adore this and can’t wait to wear it. Sometimes you just need a good classic top tucked into denim with heels and this is it! I am wearing the size small top.

This tie front top is so adorable! I will say it runs a little large even for the size small. The best part about this top is where the ties are, there are invisible buttons! If you worry about the ties coming loose or showing skin between, this top is for you! I love the sweet collar as well.

I ordered the size XS and the pants are a touch tight and short. If you are between sizes, I would suggest going up a size. This one comes in more color options!

Brumate 30oz tumbler | After seeing this tumbler as one that doesn’t leak, I had to try it! There have been so many times my Stanley has been dropped with water going everywhere. It can be very frustrating! This one thankfully does not leak! It’s a really nice waterbottle! I bought the 30oz tumbler and wish I would have gotten the bigger one.
Gold chunky earrings | These are so pretty! I love them with different outfits and will be pretty with holiday dresses.
Little girls cartwheel shorts | After putting Lydia Grace in little biking shorts for school under her dress, I realized they were really hard to for her pull up and down to use the potty. I ordered these and they are so easy for her to pull up and down herself! Win!
